FAQs

Written by Administrator. Posted in Diamond Stars Baseball

Are individual lessons offered?   Yes.  Hitting, pitching, and catching.  Some INF footwork and glovework.

Are group lessons offered?  Yes.  Groups of 2-10 may come for a private session.

How do I schedule a lesson?  Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
or call 919-334-8004.

Where are lessons given?  Just inside 440 between Wake Forest Rd. and Glenwood Ave.  Please call or
email for directions.  New location is 5621 Departure Drive, Suite 112, Raleigh, NC  27616

Do I have to sign-up for a certain amount of lessons?  No.  More progress will be made with multiple
sessions however.  We will work out frequency based on your needs.

How often should a player come for lessons?  Most players come once a week or every other week.
Some players set a designated time slot and others "float" meaning they call and schedule as it fits their
schedule.

Can I schedule multiple cage rentals?  Yes.

How soon ahead of time should I schedule a lesson?  Typically a week ahead is sufficient time.  Feel free
to call or email even at the last minute however because we are flexible and will try to get you in.

Does Diamond Stars have travel teams/showcase teams.  No.

How do I make the most of private lessons?
Practicing in between lessons will speed up a player's
muscle memory and allow them to progress more rapidly.  This gives us and the player a better chance to
move forward each lesson.

Our Program

Posted in Diamond Stars Baseball

Diamond Stars Baseball is committed to helping players through the different phases of their baseball career.  Our goal is to help players become better individuals through baseball, get the most from their ability, and navigate the ins and outs of their baseball journey.

Our focus is on instruction and overall player development at all levels.     cole hinnant - pic 2
We understand that in order to become a complete baseball player you
need to know how to practice properly, take care of your body, handle
adversity, build on success, and be mentally tough. We are looking for
players that want to learn and work on their baseball skills throughout
the year.

Players ages 8 and up may schedule private lessons, semi-private lessons, team clinics, and participate in camps.

  • We offer hitting, pitching and catching lessons.
  • Our Pre-Showcase teaches players grade 7-10 how to prepare for the high school evaluation circuit including through a pro-style work out.
  • We also offer college recruiting video services for high school players promoting themselves to colleges.
  • We highly recommend www.insiderecruit.com for all of your recruiting needs.
